Nice work Jon! I really like the geometric shape of the palaquin on top of the organic shape of the dinosaur, works really well and complimentary colours too. Also like the way the line of soldiers draw the eye, frame the composition and give a sense of perspective, very good. Fair play for all the work you did in addition to the well painted dinosaur! Nice to see that you tend to do 'scenes' as opposed to just the character. Thumbs up!
Thanks Gary; actually I was gonna put a lot more background in - more soldiers on the far side and some buildings - but then I just chickened out and put desert.
